On May 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the Rada draft laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization.

    .

Information about this appeared on the website of the Ukrainian Parliament.

There is no draft text yet.

The last time martial law and mobilization were extended on February 19 for three months – until May 18.

It is not yet known how long the president proposes to extend martial law.

It will probably be extended from May 19, 2023, and very likely again for 90 days, that is, until mid-August 2023, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote on his social networks.

He predicts that the Council’s consideration of these issues will take place “very soon”.

This will be the seventh parliamentary vote for martial law and mobilization since the start of a full-scale Muscovite invasion.
