In a massive strike on April 28, the Russians hit a high-rise in Uman. The attack killed civilians.
The Russian invaders changed the tactics of using missiles against Ukraine. And if earlier they tried to get into infrastructure and energy facilities, now the Russians are targeting civilians. This was announced on Monday, May 1, by Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, on the air of the telethon.
“It is clear that there is a certain change in tactics. There is no doubt about it, because they are inflicting direct strikes precisely on civilians, multi-apartment buildings or areas where there is housing for the civilian population,” said Podolyak.
According to him, in this way, the Russian Federation is trying to cause certain reactions in society and provoke the authorities of Ukraine to rash actions, for example, to speed up the counteroffensive so that Ukraine continues to attack furious and not making proper preparations.
“The enemy may also try to influence the inhabitants of Western countries, who, under the impression of the killings of Ukrainian civilians, may demand urgent negotiations,” said Podolyak.
In addition, the enemy is trying to understand how well the Ukrainian sky is closed.
“The main goal of the enemy is the desire to break the Ukrainians,” Podolyak stressed.
Remember that tonight the Russians attacked the Dnepropetrovsk region with missiles. In Pavlograd, an industrial enterprise, 19 high-rise buildings, 25 private houses, six school and preschool education institutions, and five shops were damaged. Immediately learned about 25 victims.
In total, the enemy fired 18 missiles at Ukraine, of which 15 were destroyed by air defense forces.
