Near the town of Unecha, Bryansk region, an explosive device went off on the railroad, a locomotive and several wagons of a cargo warehouse transporting oil products derailed.
The incident occurred about 100 km from the border with Ukraine. The movement of trains on this section is stopped.
The governor of this Muscovite region, Alexander Bogomaz, wrote on Telegram that a freight train locomotive had derailed. People were not injured, traffic on this section of the road was temporarily stopped.
Baza, in turn, reports that not only the locomotive derailed, but also seven or eight wagons of a freight train carrying oil products and lumber. Also, according to Baza, a fire broke out in a cargo warehouse.
Since the beginning of the war, the Russian special services have repeatedly announced the detention of those suspected of preparing sabotage on the railways. The FSB reports regularly feature some “Ukrainian handlers” on whose instructions the alleged suspects prepared explosions on the railways.
In mid-April, Mediazona estimated that more than 65 people were detained in cases of sabotage on railways in Russia, every third of them is a minor.
Today, in the Gatchinsky district of the Leningrad region, the resistance of the power line was undermined. Another explosive device was found on another power line, it did not explode.
The work of the Leningrad NPP and the power supply of the region, unfortunately, has not been disrupted.
