President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated border guards on their professional holiday on Sunday, April 30.

“From the first days of the war – and not only from February 24, but also from 2014 – border guards have been bravely defending Ukraine. They were the first to encounter the enemy at the border and engage in war with enemy forces . Real heroes successfully complete and conduct hundreds and hundreds of combat missions,” the president wrote in Telegram.

Zelensky thanked the border guards for their steadfastness and strength, which they showed “every day, every hour, every second.”

Recall that the border guards conducted an “incendiary weekend” for the invaders of Bakhmut and neutralized 24 enemy soldiers.

It was also reported that the border guards destroyed the Russian shock drone in the Kharkiv region.
