Swiss public broadcaster Color 3designed specifically for a younger audience, today uses only artificial intelligence (AI)-generated content throughout the day with the same non-human speakers.

From 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., the station’s studio is “taken over by robots,” according to the channel’s official Twitter account.

Programming

For now, the program of the day is dominated by the performance of songs by real artists, although there have been surprises such as a French-language imitation of former US President Barack Obama (who will soon be lecturing at swiss city from Zurich).

station asked listeners to provide feedback on this groundbreaking experience to see if artificial intelligence could be used in Swiss radio in the future.

However, this is not the first time that AI used in the Swiss media: since the beginning of this month, a female avatar created with this new technology named Jade has been presenting the weather forecast on the private TV channel M Le Media.
