More than 665 thousand consumers were left without electricity

In some areas, emergency recovery work has become difficult or impossible due to intensified fighting, demolition work and new damage to the power grid.

Due to various damages caused by bad weather and fighting, in Ukraine, on Sunday, May 22, approximately 665.9 thousand consumers were de-energized. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

“There are 343,000 consumers in the Donetsk region, more than 128,000 in the Luhansk region, and 99,400 in the Kharkiv region. As a result of bad weather conditions, 22,800 consumers have been de-energized,” the report said.

Recovery efforts have been reported to be made difficult or impossible in some areas due to intensified fighting, demining activities and new damage to power grids, including as a result of bad weather conditions.

Earlier it was reported that the enemy intensified air strikes in Ukraine.
