The parties will discuss an agreement on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The meeting place is Washington.
In Washington on Sunday, April 30, Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold a new round of negotiations. This was reported by Reuters.
During the talks, the countries will try to normalize relations strained by the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“From April 30, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is in Washington on a working visit. At the same time, the next round of discussions on the agreement on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is planned,” his press secretary Ani Badalyan said.
It will be remembered that the President of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, said that Armenia and Azerbaijan can conclude a peace agreement if the two countries recognize each other’s territorial integrity.
We add that in April there were new clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
