The United Nations is “deeply concerned” by Russian racism towards Ukrainians, as well as ethnic groups living in Russia. The UN says the Russian army and Kremlin-controlled private military companies continue to violate human rights. The organization called on Moscow to stop forced mobilization and violation of human rights.

The UN committee also expressed “concern” about reports of incitement to racial hatred and propaganda of racist stereotypes against ethnic Ukrainians.
In addition, the report indicates that Russia is carrying out forced mobilization, which disproportionately affects ethnic minorities and indigenous peoples.
Recall that Kyiv initiated the process of excluding Russia from permanent membership in the UN Security Council with the right of veto and the entire organization as a whole.
