The United States of America has sent 43 specialists to Ukraine to deal with Russian cyber attacks.
The US is sending more of its cyberforce overseas to help other countries, including Ukraine, fight hackers. This is what US Army Major General William Hartman said, Reuters reports.
The US has sent 43 experts to Ukraine, which is fighting Russian cyber attacks at the height of the war, he said.
“We send out defense teams and they’re looking for common adversaries, looking for tools and opportunities,” Hartman said.
Over the past three years, the US Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) has conducted 47 such defense cyber operations in 20 countries.
CNMF experts are known for preventing potential attacks on three US federal agencies. They also discovered an Iranian hacker group that broke the voting system in one of the American cities used to report the results of the 2020 election.
It was previously reported that Russian hackers were connecting to public webcams installed in Ukrainian cafes. Thus, the enemy collects information about passing columns with humanitarian assistance.
In March, a cyberattack occurred on Ukrainian state resources, including unified state registers, and websites of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
