The FSB of Crimea handed over the case materials of the Crimean activists to the prosecutor’s office, which sent them to the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don.
“This is a link to a whole range of violations of the rights and freedoms of Crimean Tatar activists who are being persecuted for their political and religious views and beliefs. We will appeal in a separate bloc to international opportunities the forced expulsion of our fellow citizens from the territory of Crimea,” said lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.
According to the defense, the Russian special services specifically tied this case to events related to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
As we reported earlier, due to the expiration of the term of imprisonment, the Crimean Tatar Arsen Dzhepparov, who was illegally convicted in the case of Hizb ut-Tahrir, was released from the Russian colony.
In addition, the Crimean “judge”, who was involved in the prosecution of the deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Akhtem Chiygoz, was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
