The last package of sanctions actually made it impossible to export electrical equipment outside of Russia for scheduled repairs.
Russia, due to sanctions, cannot export power equipment outside the country for scheduled repairs. This was stated by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Shulginov, Interfax reports.
According to him, the Russian companies RusHydra and Quadra mainly operate foreign turbines.
As the minister mentioned, it is also necessary to update the plan for replacing the retired capacities in case of the impossibility of further operation of the turbines.
Recall that the 10th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation tightens bans on the export of critical technologies and industrial products, such as electronics, specialized vehicles, engine parts, spare parts for in trucks and jet engines, as well as goods for the construction sector, which can be sent to the Russian military.
As reported, the EU is preparing the 11th package of sanctions against Russia, which will strengthen control over compliance with previous sanctions.
