The command of the Ground Forces showed the work of the crew of the Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (Gepard).
The module is serviced by three operators, equipped with two 35-mm guns. The Cheetah is mounted on a chassis from the Leopard I tank, the rate of fire of each is 550 rounds per minute, in total 420 chassis and 435 combat modules have been produced since 1973.
Rakurs reported that on August 10, Germany handed over four more Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery mounts to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, Kyiv received 12 units of the APU Gepard from Berlin. Also, over the past few days, 49,000 shells have been delivered to Gepard.
In February, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received from Germany two more Gepard Gepard anti-aircraft guns and 6,000 ammunition for them.
Switzerland, in particular, does not give Germany its consent to the supply to Ukraine of Swiss-produced ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft guns.
