Now the enemy is more interested in everything related to the preparation of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, according to intelligence.
The aggressor country of Russia has not carried out a large-scale missile attack on the territory of Ukraine for more than a month. The enemy made a conditional break in relation to a possible counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Andrey Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said this on the air of the telethon, RBC-Ukraine reports on Thursday, April 20.
According to him, in comparison with the winter period, there is a change in the tactics of missile terror, because the first stage failed – the energy missile blitzkrieg was a complete failure.
“A critical part of the missile’s potential was exhausted for itself, the enemy did not achieve the desired result. Yes, tactics are changing today, and this conditional break is used for accumulation, only the tasks are different – it is mainly not energy infrastructure facilities, but, for example, everything related to logistics, the preparation of military targets in the context of attempts to disrupt the Ukrainian offensive,” he said .
Yusov recalled that the Russians had made similar attempts before, in the first phase of a full-scale invasion.
“If we talk about the winter season, then the military goals are declared, but the goals are definitely peaceful things, civilian infrastructure facilities and energy. Now the tactics are different,” he stressed .
At the same time, according to Yusov, the enemy will not be able to restore the potential in terms of quantity and quality that was already used during a full-scale invasion, even if it stops until September, and “it will not stop until September.”
As you know, the Russians have recently changed their tactics in attacking Ukraine. They are increasingly using S-300 missiles, as happened in Slovyansk, where 15 civilians were killed.
Also, the enemy began to actively use planning bombs, scattered dozens a day along the entire front line of demarcation from aircraft.
