A federal judge in New York sentenced him to life in prison this Wednesday. Anthony Zottolason of a Bonanno mob associate, for arranging the execution of his 70-year-old father in 2018 to take over his million-dollar business.
Murder
Sylvester Zottolathe victim, aged 71, was shot and killed while shopping for coffee at a McDonald’s in the Bronx in 2018, having survived several violent attacks over the course of a year without knowing who was behind it.
“It was his own son who was so determined to control the family’s lucrative real estate business that he hired a gang of hitmen to kill his father,” Breon Peace, Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, explained in a press release.
Execution
