The border guards demonstrated the amount of work done since the beginning of 2022 to strengthen the border with Belarus.
In order to ensure reliable protection of the Ukrainian border and readiness to repel a possible enemy invasion from the territory of Belarus, engineering barriers, fortifications are being built up and remote video surveillance systems are being set up, the Office of the President reported.
The President also inspected the observation point and the two-level system of ditches on the border.
From the position of the observation post, it was demonstrated how, with the help of remote video surveillance systems, round-the-clock surveillance is carried out abroad. The head of state was shown the systems for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles.
