War in Ukraine: Russia’s losses exceed 29 thousand

The largest enemy losses the previous day were observed in the direction of Bakhmut.

In the period from February 24 to May 19, the total losses of personnel of the Russian occupiers on the territory of Ukraine reached approximately 29,050 people (+200 per day). This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday, May 22.

Ukrainian soldiers were also destroyed:

  • tank – 1285 (+7) units,

  • armored fighting vehicles – 3141 (+25) units,

  • artillery system – 599 (+3) units,

  • MLRS – 20 units,

  • air defense system – 93 units,

  • aircraft – 204 units,

  • helicopter – 170 (+1) units,

  • UAV operational -tactical level – 470 (+8),

  • cruise missiles – 107 (+3),

  • ship / boat – 13 units,

  • vehicle and tanker equipment – 2194 (+16) units,

  • special equipment – 43.

The largest enemy losses the previous day were observed in the direction of Bakhmut.

Earlier, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, said that the most difficult situation on the front was in the direction of Bakhmut, where the Russian army has actively deployed additional forces over the past two days.

And this morning it was learned that the Armed Forces of Ukraine has denied attacks on Severodonetsk from four directions.
