The pensioner was fined on charges of “discrediting the Russian army.” This is reported by the Russian edition of “OVD-Info”.
The report on the woman was drawn up because of her words that the Ukrainians are great – they are defending their country, and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is an intelligent and handsome man. She said them in a sanatorium during treatment, informs the publication.
The pensioner was denounced by two waitresses and a retired former employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, in the protocol, the security forces accused the woman of words that she did not say. In particular, the pensioner allegedly said that “Zelensky will soon take over Russia and everyone will feel bad,” the newspaper notes.
The Russian human rights center Memorial believes that the visually impaired woman was persuaded to sign the protocol.
It is noted that it was the meeting of the Shcherbinsky District Court of Moscow, which passed the verdict, that lasted about five minutes.
The judge refused … a motion to adjourn the meeting due to Slegina’s poor health, saying that if she “is not in intensive care,” then this is not a good reason, the publication adds.
