The corresponding photo today, April 17, was published on the page of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Twitter.
The Bradley infantry fighting vehicles are trying on new uniforms,” the description of the photo says.
The M2 Bradley is the main infantry fighting vehicle of the US Army. It is armed with a 25mm M242 Bushmaster automatic cannon and a coaxial 7.62mm M240C machine gun. The BMP also has a TOW anti-tank installation.
On January 6, 2023, the White House announced that the batch of military aid to Ukraine will include 50 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
Recall that in January of this year, the US Transportation Administration sent the first batch of Bradley combat vehicles to Ukraine as part of a $2.85 billion military assistance agreement. Ukraine is receiving Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in the M2A2 ODS version.
The new assistance package has fire support vehicles capable of detecting targets up to 20 km away.
