Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Leonid Slutsky withdrew his words about the possibility of replacing Ukrainian People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk for the Ukrainian military from Azovstal. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine in connection with the statement of the Russian deputy.
As Slutsky noted, his opinion about the fighters of the Ukrainian division of Azov has not changed. He believes they should not be replaced, but should be “given to the tribunal.”
“Regarding the proposals regarding Medvedchuk, I am convinced that those with appropriate competence should discuss these issues. Honestly, it was said at a press conference. No more, at least.
