Over the past 24 hours, enemy troops have inflicted fire damage on the entire spectrum of weapons.
Now the most difficult situation on the front is in the direction of Bakhmut, where the army of the Russian Federation has actively deployed additional forces over the past two days. This was announced on Saturday, May 21, by Aleksey Arestovich, advisor to the head of the OP, on Feigin Live.
According to him, the Russians are trying to advance west and north of Popasnaya.
Arestovich called the situation “unfavorable”, given the level of exhaustion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the problems associated with the possibility of providing Ukrainian soldiers.
“This is the route on which our grouping of troops is provided in the Severodonetsk city area,” he said.
Arestovich also noted that the war in Ukraine had entered a third, decisive stage.
In turn, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the day enemy troops inflicted fire damage on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along with the full range of weapons, including aviation. In particular, the attacks were made on Vrubovka and Bakhmut.
The Ukrainian military also noticed that the enemy was preparing for an offensive in the Slavic and Liman directions.
“During the day, the enemy carried out active shelling of communities in these areas of operation,” reported the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall, the head of the Luhansk region Sergei Gaidai said they were trying to surround the Luhansk region. The occupiers wanted to set fire to the region, destroy Severodonetsk, the fighting was going on around the city.
