The display scales to two-thirds of its size when navigating and switching to full screen mode.
South Korean auto parts manufacturer Hyundai Mobis Co has developed the world’s first movable car display. This was reported by Yonhap.
It is noted that the display is lowered when the car engine is turned off. Also, the screen moves up or down depending on the vehicle’s driving conditions.
In addition, the display becomes two-thirds its size when navigating, and switches to a fully extended screen for watching video while parked or while charging an electric vehicle.
Hyundai Mobis is seeking an order for the movable display, which is partly used in smartphones and TVs, from car manufacturers in North America and Europe.
It was previously reported that Hyundai intends to increase production of electric vehicles.
It will be remembered that Hyundai introduced a “charged” crossover.
