The SBU reported suspicion of a former Ukrainian journalist who fled to Russia

Since February 24, 2022, he has been following Kremlin instructions to distribute publications, in which he justifies the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and denies the involvement of the occupiers in the massacres of civilians in the Kyiv region.

The collaborator calls the torture and mass graves in Bucha and Irpen “staged”. In addition, Tarapata regularly receives awards from the Kremlin and the Moscow city administration for his propaganda activities.

The suspect is now in Russia. Steps are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against our state – he faces a sentence of up to 12 years in prison.
