Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov says that so far Ukraine does not see the use of Russia on the front of Chinese weapons.
To date, we do not see signs of the presence of weapons made in China on the front. If it appeared here… You remember, when Iranian attack drones appeared, we immediately made a statement about it. Moreover, we dismantled them, as they say, piece by piece and even officially turned to those countries whose components were used there, asking why this happened and that this should be stopped. We do not see Chinese weapons on our front now. As soon as this happens, we will immediately inform the society and the world. But, based on the global issues of China, we do not see today why it should supply weapons to Russia, Danilov said in an interview with TSN.
The NSDC secretary also commented on one of the US military intelligence documents released during the leak of the Pentagon’s secret data array that Beijing approved the supply of lethal weapons to Moscow.
Now additional supposedly documents related to this leak may appear, Danilov said.
According to the official, the Kremlin “is asking all countries for help, because it lacks weapons.”
Russia understands that it cannot defeat us by military means, they now have a plan for internal destabilization. This is a priority for them now,” Danilov is convinced.
Recall, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said that the country will not sell weapons to the parties involved in the war in Ukraine, and will regulate the export of dual civilian and military goods.
Earlier, Vladislav Vlasyuk, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine on sanctions, said in an interview with Reuters that Ukrainians are finding more and more Chinese parts in Russian equipment used at the front. According to him, Chinese parts are increasingly crowding out Western ones. Ukrainian services confirmed the presence of Chinese components, in particular, in the antenna of the Orlan drone, which previously used the Swiss system, and in Russian tanks, which previously contained French parts.
