This is how the SMArt 155 projectile works, containing two homing submunitions for accurately hitting armored vehicles. Their guidance system includes infrared sensors and a microwave radar, the Ukrainian defenders said.
Recall, SMArt 155 is a German high-precision 155 mm artillery projectile designed to guarantee destruction of both stationary armored vehicles and on the move. The two submunitions of the projectile act on the principle of an impact core.
The video is available for viewing on the Facebook page of the 26th brigade.
