Later, the acrobat himself said that he was worried about the weather, because on the day he was supposed to walk the tightrope, rain was predicted.
“The performance, which was the decoration of the opening ceremony of the 10th International Theater Olympiad, was an unprecedented success, as no acrobat had ever crossed the Danube on a tight rope,” the newspaper wrote.
