48 out of 130 soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces dismissed on April 16 were considered missing.

Some of the rescued have wounds, numerous concussions and lost limbs. Also released from captivity were two siblings who fought in the area of the city of Bakhmut.
The eldest of the dismissed defenders is already 58 years old, the youngest is 21 years old. Recall that on April 16, another 130 Ukrainian fighters were rescued from Russian captivity at Easter.
This time, thanks to the efforts of the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, 92 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 20 terrorist fighters, 11 National Guardsmen, three border guards, two representatives of the Navy and two representatives of the State Special Transport Service are returning home.
All rescued defenders are privates and sergeants. Most of the released soldiers defended Ukraine in the Bakhmut and Soledar directions, as well as in Zaporozhye, Kherson, Luhansk.
