So, this winter, while defending the city, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 130 pieces of equipment of the Russian invaders. Then the enemy threw elite units into the assault, but their plan was destroyed. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny on April 15 in Telegram.
The general also showed a photo of the heroes who destroyed Russian armored vehicles near Ugledar. He noted the commander of the CAESAR self-propelled artillery mount from the 55th separate artillery brigade “Zaporizhzhya Sich”. It was these fighters, together with other crews and crews, who showed outstanding professionalism in the winter during the defense of the city.

The military also said that, on average, gunners fired 120-150 shells per day. This went on for 10 days.
Recall that in March, British intelligence reported that the Russian army suffered heavy losses near Vuhledar also because of the remote mine systems RAAMS, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully used.
