“Dismiss Oleksandr Alekseevich Pavlyuk from the post of head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration,” the order said.
“To appoint Aleksey Vladimirovich Kuleba as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration,” the second document said.
The Office of the President clarified that as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration (OVA), Oleksandr Pavlyuk was able to strengthen the interaction between the military, executive authorities and local governments in the region. Using military experience in difficult enemy confrontation conditions, powerful new lines of defense were created around Kyiv.
“During the leadership of Oleksandr Pavlyuk the Kyiv region was completely liberated from Russian occupiers. Immediately after that, work began on the restoration of the region’s infrastructure, in particular, demining the territory, clearing the crushed stone, restoration of roads and critical infrastructure, restoration of electricity, water and gas to homes in the territories under employment, ”the statement said.
It will be recalled that Pavlyuk replaced Kuleba as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration in March to “strengthen the defense of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.” Kuleba was appointed head of the Humanitarian Headquarters of the Kyiv region.
Earlier, Zelensky appointed Major General Igor Tantsyura as Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the head of state removed Yuri Galushkin from this post.
