The National Police of Ukraine, together with Czech law enforcement officials, liquidated an international criminal organization that fraudulently looted over 65 million Czech crowns. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
“Two men organized a fraud scheme – a Ukrainian and a citizen of the Czech Republic. They set up a call center in Dnipro, with the help of which they got money from citizens of the Czech Republic ,” the police report.
It was noted that the organizers and active participants of the fraudulent scheme were detained.
“The figurants came to the attention of the police last summer. At that time, law enforcement officials established that a criminal organization with international connections was operating on the territory of Ukraine, which ” expert” in fraud against the citizens of the Czech Republic. Having collected the necessary evidence base, law enforcement officials conducted a special operation, at the same time held on the territory of Ukraine and the Czech Republic. As a result of the measures taken, law enforcement officials detained two organizers. Ukrainian law enforcement officials also detained five active members of the group, all of whom are citizens of foreign countries.
