The Security Service of Ukraine urged Ukrainians not to attend mass gatherings on the eve of Easter.
The secret service assured that it was making every effort to neutralize the influence of the enemy on the church environment and not give the Russians a minimal opportunity to use the religious issue to achieve their own goals. However, Ukrainians should also be vigilant. This is stated on the Facebook page of the SBU.
The enemy is well aware that he is defeated on the battlefield, so he does not leave attempts to arrange provocations in order to undermine the unity of Ukrainian society. To do this, Russia is trying to use a variety of tools and, among other things, pays special attention to religious topics, the secret service noted.
On the eve of the holidays, Ukrainians were urged to limit attendance at mass events, no matter what slogans they might take place under. Also, do not respond to provocations, if any.
Citizens should observe curfews and not ignore air raid warnings. It is also not necessary to unnecessarily linger in churches during the consecration of the Easter basket.
In the event that you notice any suspicious objects or persons that may arrange provocations or pose a potential threat, report this to law enforcement officers.
Recall that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Russian military could launch a massive missile strike at any time, not only on Easter, or, for example, on May 1 or 9.
