The transfer of bodies from the temporarily occupied territories took place on Friday, April 14, with the assistance of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, together with law enforcement agencies. This was reported by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine in Telegram.
It is noted that the transfer of the bodies of the dead defenders is carried out in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention.
The ministry also reminded that the hotline of the Commissioner for Missing Persons is working: 0 800 339 247. And on weekends, you can send messages to Viber and Telegram to the number: (095) 896-04-21.
Before that, on March 24, Ukraine returned the bodies of 83 dead soldiers, and on March 3, the bodies of 17 dead Ukrainian defenders were returned home.
Recall that on April 10, Ukraine exchanged prisoners with the leadership of the army of the Russian Federation. 100 military, sailors, border guards and National Guardsmen managed to return home. Among them were the defenders of Azovstal and Gostomel.
