There is no final plan yet, everyone will decide at the last moment, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said. He also reported delays in the delivery of weapons.
The Ukrainian military command has different scenarios for the development of events at the front, but everyone will decide at the last moment. Therefore, the assumptions about the plans of the Ukrainian military, especially the counter-offensive, are unfounded. This was said by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov on the air of the telethon.
“Our defenders do not have one, not two, not three or four options for the development of front events, because it depends on many factors that are analyzed every day,” said Danilov.
He emphasized that everyone should understand that the Ukrainian leadership is not only talking about a counter-offensive.
“We have an understanding that it is necessary to liberate all our territories up to the 1991 borders. Until we do it, until our Armed Forces do it, there will be no talk of ending the war,” added Danilov.
At the same time, the Secretary of the National Security Council said that now there are some delays in the supply of weapons from Western partners.
“We are waiting for the help promised and declared by our partners. I see that, unfortunately, not all partners have responded. The deliveries are happening now – I can’t say they are not there – but there are certain delaying other issues. We will consider this a temporary situation,” NSDC Secretary said.
He emphasized that Ukraine relies not only on partners, but also on “many other channels” to buy weapons for the Defense Forces, a process that continues on a daily basis.
Earlier, Danilov said that information about the time and place of the future counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is closed. It is owned by no more than 3-5 people.
