In Transcarpathia, border guards and police detained a car whose driver tried to pick up four men liable for military service in Romania. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
It was reported that the car was driven by a resident of the Transcarpathian city of Rakhiv, and its passengers were three residents of Transcarpathia and one resident of the Cherkasy region (all men were of military age).
“As law enforcement found out, the driver was taking his passengers to Delovoe, where they planned to illegally cross the border into Romania. For his services, the businessman demanded 3,000 US dollars from three clients, and 3,500 euros from one,” reports the State Border Service.
Earlier, in the Transcarpathian region, law enforcement officials exposed a scheme for transporting evaders in an ambulance abroad.
