The list of blocked assets includes corporate rights to 40 Ukrainian enterprises and 30 gas wells.
In Ukraine, the property of former people’s representative Vadim Novinsky was arrested. This was reported by the SBU on Thursday, April 13.
“The list of blocked assets includes corporate rights to 40 Ukrainian enterprises and 30 gas wells, where industrial quantities of blue fuel are produced. The total value of seized property is more than 3.5 billion hryvnia,” the report said.
The SBU found that Novinsky tried to evade NSDC sanctions and re-register his own industrial facilities in several affiliated commercial structures. To implement the transaction, he attracted regulated private notaries and state registers.
In this regard, the Ministry of Justice has already canceled the illegal actions of registries on a number of oligarch businesses, the SBU pointed out.
Special service officers conducted searches in the office premises of enterprises, as well as in the workplaces and residences of the defendants in the case of complicity with the aggressor state (Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ). Documents, seals of non-resident companies and pro-Kremlin religious literature were found.
Recall that in December 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against Novinsky and UOC-MP figures.
And in July last year, the Verkhovna Rada terminated the powers of People’s Deputy Novinsky.
