Representatives of the IAEA and the State Nuclear Regulatory Agency conducted an inspection of the Rovno NPP for the presence of undeclared nuclear materials. This was reported by the State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine.
“From April 10 to April 13, 2023, an inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency was successfully conducted at the Rivne NPP in the framework of the agreement between Ukraine and the IAEA related to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. ,” the report said.
It was noted that there were no comments from the IAEA inspectors.
