The Ukrainian authorities are doing everything to identify the deceased Ukrainian prisoner, whose brutal murder video appeared on the network, said the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar.
It is important for all of us to understand that identifying a person from a video, and even more so a person in such circumstances, is an extremely difficult task. Therefore, we ask you to refrain from publicly voicing any versions until the official conclusions, – Malyar said.
Malyar also called for the distribution of this video and “any similar video material” to be stopped.
Now that everyone has already seen it, prosecutors and the International Court of Justice should see it,” said the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The Security Service of Ukraine has launched a pre-trial investigation into the brutal murder of a Ukrainian captive. The head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, assured that the security forces would get the executioners who did this even from underground.
We will find these executioners. If necessary, we will receive them wherever they are: from underground or from the next world. But they will be punished for what they have done,” said the Kid.
The Ukrainian department believes that in the video that appeared on the network on April 11, the Russian invaders “show their animal nature”, cruelly torturing a Ukrainian captive and cutting off his head.
