So, according to the British government, under the sanctions were the wife of the “king of the Russian defense industry” – the founder of AFK “Sistema” Vladimir Yevtushenkov – Natalya and the children of businessman Tatyana and Felix Yevtushenkov.
Also under sanctions was Marchenko, who was put on the wanted list in Ukraine on April 11. The reason, according to the sanctions list, was that her husband Viktor Medvedchuk “is involved or was involved in destabilizing Ukraine or undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine.”
In addition, relatives of Russian oligarchs Suleiman Kerimov and Andrei Skoch, as well as companies associated with Alisher Usmanov, were sanctioned.
The UK sanctions list now includes 1,559 individuals and 184 legal entities. The property and funds of those sanctioned in the UK are subject to freezing.
Recall that in February, the SBU informed Marchenko about suspicion of financing Russian occupiers.
