According to the president, it is foolish to expect someone else to deliver victory.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Ukrainians and Western partners to “not lose sight of the path” that has not yet been taken to defeat the Russian Federation. On Tuesday, April 11, the head of state said in his video message.
“We are now at a stage in the war where it is important for our society and partners not to lose sight of the path we must take. The path exactly. The path ahead.
Compared to last year, many places are quieter today. But this does not mean that you can ignore the war somewhere or be less committed to helping the state,” the president said.
He emphasized that much has been done, but the struggle continues and Ukraine needs everyone’s help.
“It is foolish to passively hope that someone else will bring victory, the one who is now in the trenches, who is now on the attack. This is a common practice. Victory is won by everyone,” Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that on the road to success, everyone must understand: “what are my steps to success, and are these steps enough for the whole path?”
Canada will give Ukraine a new military aid package, which includes machine guns and ammunition.
Note that Russia intends to sponsor and develop alternative private military companies to eventually replace the Wagner Group in Ukraine.
