In the first quarter, ARMA processed 4,059 appeals and requests to search for assets in Ukraine and abroad.
The National Agency for the Identification, Search and Management of Assets Received from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) identified the assets of the sanctioned persons in the amount of approximately UAH 1.27 billion. This was reported by the press service of the National Agency.
It was noted that in March, the institution received 1,770 appeals (20% more than in February 2023) from law enforcement agencies to identify and search assets in criminal proceedings and requests from the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine regarding the property of authorized persons.
In total, in the first quarter of 2023, ARMA processed 4,059 appeals and asset search requests in Ukraine and abroad, which is already more than half of the total number of appeals processed in 2022.
It was reported that in March, ARMA specialists identified and searched 4462 units of property, namely, 1744 land plots, 1427 real estate objects, 842 units. road transport, 316 units. intellectual property rights, 98 units. agricultural machinery with accessories, 30 pcs. other property (merchandise), five units. sea/river transportation.
It was previously reported that ARMA uncovered criminal assets worth UAH 60 billion during the year.
It should be remembered that ARMA received more than 254 million hryvnias from the sale of arrested ammonia of Russian origin in the amount of 9.7 thousand tons.
