The Foreign Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is waiting for pilots capable of flying F-16 fighters, the Defense Ministry said.
Foreign pilots with experience flying F-16 fighters are invited to join the Foreign Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, the press service of the Ukraine Media Center reports.
“If there are pilots who know how to fly an F-16 and are ready to take part (in the war – ed.), the foreign legion is ready to open the doors,” Reznikov said at a briefing.
The minister also invited foreign specialists capable of servicing Western self-propelled guns and tanks to work in Ukraine.
Recall that in March it was reported that the legendary American F-16 pilot volunteered to defend Ukraine. He noted that many American pilots want to fight in Ukraine if this issue is resolved at the government level.
