Troels Lund Poulsen said that self-propelled guns will come to the country with Ukrainian fighters who are currently studying abroad.
Denmark plans to deliver Caesar self-propelled guns to Ukraine in May. They will come to Ukraine with the military, trained abroad. This is what Denmark’s Acting Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen said, Media Center Ukraine reported on Monday, April 10.
“We hope that the Caesar artillery system will be delivered to Ukraine next month. Now they are at the training grounds in Denmark,” the official said.
He also added that deliveries of Leopard 1 tanks will begin before the summer.
“Two months ago, Denmark signed an agreement with Germany. We hope that we will start delivering tanks before the summer. In the next six months, it is possible to supply about 100 Leopard 1 tank in Ukraine. And we will be able to discuss the supply of Leopard 2, which Denmark does not have very much.
Recall that Denmark provided for the needs of the Ukrainian army all the French-made Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts it had at its disposal.
