The Ukrainian president topped the rating of the hundred most influential people in the world, garnering more than 3.3 million votes.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has become the most influential man of the year according to readers of Time magazine. On Thursday, May 19, the publication reported.

It was noted that Zelensky topped the 2022 Time100 reader poll, in which readers voted for people they thought deserved a place on the annual list of the most influential people of the year.

The Ukrainian leader received more than 3.3 million votes and took first place with 5% of the vote.

When Russian forces launched a massive invasion of Ukraine in February, Zelenskiy, a comedian with no political experience before being elected president of Ukraine in 2019, took to the world stage and rallied leaders to support Ukraine.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk came in second with 3.5% of the vote.

British Prime Minister Boris Jones came in third with 3.4% of the vote.

Earlier it was reported that Zelensky leads by a wide margin in the ranking of the most influential people in the world.
