Ukrainian T-64 tanks began to be repaired at the Bumar-Łabędy armored plant in Poland. This was announced on Friday, April 7, by the press service of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ).
It is known that the center was opened as part of an agreement between PGZ and Ukroboronprom. They will be engaged in the repair, maintenance, maintenance of combat capability and restoration of T-64 tanks.
In the future, cooperation is also planned for the service of T-72 and PT-91 tanks, which Poland transferred to Ukraine. The possibility of joint work on the maintenance of Leopard 2 tanks is also considered.
PGZ added that after the implementation of the Leopard 2A4 tank upgrade program to the 2PL standard for the needs of the Polish army, the company received the necessary knowledge, technical means and experience in the service of such equipment.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and Poland will produce tank shells. We are talking about the deployment of new production lines for the production of a large number of ammunition for the 125-mm tank gun.
