Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout will offer the former US President to continue the “fight for the American people” from a “safe haven” in Russia.
Notorious Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout has urged former US President Donald Trump to seek asylum in Russia because his life is “in danger”. On Friday, April 7, AFP reports.
Booth, also known as the “dealer of death,” was traded last year for US basketball star Britney Griner during a high-profile prisoner exchange between Moscow and Washington in December.
“I believe your life is in danger,” Bout wrote in a cable sent to Trump and shown to the press in Moscow.
“The Biden administration won’t stop by dragging you to court/prison-industrial complex. They’d rather end your life than let you get in the way,” Bout said in one post.
The Russian also told Trump, whom he has long admired, that he would find a “safe haven” where he “can lead the fight for the American people.”
It will be remembered that in December 2022, the Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, who was called the Merchant of Death, was released to the United States. He was traded for an American athlete imprisoned in Russia. Bout is a former lieutenant colonel in the Soviet army who served a 25-year prison sentence in the United States on charges of plotting to kill Americans, buying and exporting anti-aircraft missiles, and providing material that support to a terrorist organization.
As reported, Trump has been indicted in the United States on 34 counts. Collectively, Trump’s charges carry a maximum penalty of more than 100 years in prison under New York law.
