“From the first day of the war, Poland became a wall for Ukraine, and Ukrainians clearly wrote their program for the future on the barricades with their blood: they want to be in NATO and part of the EU. And support of Poland these aspirations. , because we know that when Ukraine is in NATO, we will be safer,” he said.
Morawiecki turned to the European Union and said that Ukraine’s place is in NATO and the EU.
“Therefore, here I turn to the EU: Europe, the place of the Ukrainian heroic people is in NATO and the EU,” stressed the Polish prime minister.
The head of the Polish government emphasized that the Ukrainian military “today, with their blood, their heroism, proves and shows to everyone what the struggle for freedom and European values is.”
Morawiecki also thanked the Ukrainian soldiers: “You are the shield of Poland and the whole of Europe, and let the whole of Europe hear it.”
