The Ukrainian side will discuss with the political leadership of NATO member countries the readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fly F-16 fighters. This is what Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said on the air of the national telethon Unifying news on Tuesday, April 4th.
“I discussed the F-16 in several bilateral meetings in Brussels. The discussions consisted of two blocs,” the official said.
According to him, at first it is possible to dismiss the arguments of those who say that the provision of Western aircraft is long, difficult and almost impossible from a practical point of view.
“Secondly, there are no decisions, but I received an assurance that, taking into account the information I provided about our readiness to fly these aircraft, it will be discussed with the political leadership in the capitals of these states,” Kuleba’s summary.
