The Russian military again dropped a water munition with a chemical substance of the K-51 type in the area.
The armed forces of the Russian Federation have again violated the rules of war. The Russians dropped K-51 aerosol grenades from a UAV near Vodyany. This was announced on the air of the national telethon on Tuesday, April 4, by the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tauride direction, Alexei Dmitrashkovsky.
“The dropping of a bullet with a chemical component was also recorded in the Vodyanoye area. Most likely, it was a K-51 bullet,” he said.
According to Dmitrashkovsky, this is far from the first time that the enemy dropped the specified ammunition, which was dropped from unmanned aerial vehicles.
“To say that it hurts is not, but for some time a person is destabilized and he is unable to carry out military operations,” the spokesman said.
Chemical weapons are weapons of mass destruction and are prohibited by the Hague Convention. Article 23 states that ammunition cannot be used to poison enemy personnel.
The K-51 is a non-lethal tear gas hand grenade. Developed in the late 1970s in the USSR.
The enemy, caught in an aerosol cloud, without a gas mask could not resist and opened fire. The respiratory tract is pierced by shortness of breath with cough, the sinuses are filled with mucus.
It was previously reported that Russian troops were using chemical hand grenades. Using unmanned aerial vehicles, the enemy is trying to hit the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and using hand-held tear gas grenades K-51.
