Children suffered the most in Donetsk and Kharkov regions. Kyiv, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Chernihiv, Lugansk, Dnepropetrovsk regions.

On the morning of April 4, 2023, as a result of a large-scale armed attack by the Russian Federation, 467 children were killed, more than 944 were injured in various degrees of severity. It was reported by the Office of the Attorney General.

It is noted that these numbers are not final. The work of placing them in war zones in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories continues.

Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 448, Kharkiv – 275, Kiev – 127, Kherson – 94, Zaporozhye – 88, Mykolaiv – 85, Chernihiv – 68, Lugansk – 66, Dnepropetrovsk region – 66.

Remember, according to UNICEF Executive Director Katherine Russell, as a result of Russia’s armed invasion of Ukraine, 501 children were killed. The actual death toll may be higher.
