On the fact of misappropriation of property by abuse of official position, a suspicion was reported to the chief accountant of the logistics center, three forwarders, the warehouse manager and the general manager.
Now the State Bureau of Investigation is establishing a whole circle of people involved in the scheme.
Some of the seized products have already been handed over to the military, others will go to military units after completing the necessary tests.
As recalled in the State Bureau of Investigation, in January 2023, employees of the bureau exposed an organized group that steals and resells food intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Then, almost 70 searches were conducted in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of which more than 30,000 cans of stewed products weighing more than seven tons, ready for resale, were seized, as well as about four million hryvnias in cash in different currencies.
