The prefecture of the department of Vaucluse has ordered that a caricature created by street art artist Lekto be painted over as soon as possible.
In Avignon in the south of France, a graffiti appeared with French President Emmanuel Macron in the image of Adolf Hitler. This was reported on April 3 by the newspaper La Provence.
It is noted that the author of the work is a street art artist under the pseudonym Lekto, known for political cartoons.
Macron is depicted with gray hair and a mustache in the form of the numbers 49.3, which is a reference to the corresponding article of the French constitution, which Prime Minister Elisabeth Born used to pass a bill to raise the retirement age no vote in parliament.
The graffiti says NON MERCI (no thanks) in big letters.

Remember, on March 16, the French government adopted a controversial pension reform without the vote of the lower house of the country’s parliament – the National Assembly, which uses a special article of the constitution.
The bill, in particular, provides for a gradual increase in the retirement age from 62 to 64 in 2030. Because of him, thousands of demonstrations organized by labor unions have been held in the country since January.
